Tri Kingdom Come Event
Congratulations to Mark Nolan for his victory in Banna beach on 15/08/10. The fantastic conditions together with a huge turnout of support for the athletes, helped to make the day one to remember. A huge thank you to all involved – participating triathletes from near & far, volunteers, sponsors, Banna Sea Rescue, spectators and not forgetting mother nature – all contributing to a most memorable inaugural event for the club. More to follow in the coming days including photos. In the meantime, click on the link for results provided by ChipIT Race Timing Systems - Trikingdomcomeresults

DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE KIDS?
DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE KIDS?
THE GAMES WE USED TO PLAY…ALL THAT RUNNING AROUND…YOUR FIRST BIKE…I’ll RACE YOU TO THE LAMP POST… GOING TO THE BEACH…JUMPING IN THE SEA?
The point being that in a sense we all started life as triathletes – we just didn’t have a name for it. Tackling a swim, then a bike and then a run can seem like a daunting prospect. But don’t worry if you have never done a triathlon before, you are not alone. More than half of this year’s participants will be newcomers to the sport – just like you. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish with just a bit of regular training and Tralee Triathlon Club to support you along the way. HAVE FUN & SUPPORT BANNA SEA RESCUE AT THE SAME TIME…
If your entering a triathlon isn’t challenge enough how about doing it to raise cash for Banna Sea Rescue that saves lives at sea? The service is run on a voluntary basis with crew members making themselves available for call outs twelve months of the year. As an organisation they are totally dependent on fundraising and donations to deliver this service and as a club we are honoured to donate a portion of the proceeds of this event to support them in their efforts.
